Allergy Related Symptoms & AC Filters

As another hot summer in South Florida continues, residents are dealing with another year of the allergy season. Experts are saying that allergy sufferers that had problems during the spring, may be in for a longer summer. There are a number of ways that South Florida homeowners can help themselves when suffering from allergies or allergy related symptoms.

• Regular cleaning or replacing filters will help collect and remove particulates such as dust, ragweed, pollen etc from the air stream.
  
  
• Inspect filters monthly, replace at least every 2 months or when the filter appears to be dirty. This will improve your airflow and make your unit run to its efficiency.
  
  
• A Preventive maintenance is also recommended to make sure your unit is running properly. This helps improve your indoor air quality.
